Character concepts for my OC tokumask. A tokusatsu inspired martial arts detective project.

Story:
Johnny Train is an inner city brawler turned to the straight and narrow by his mentor and father figure Samuel. Samuel being a detective is mysteriously murdered by a masked figure in tokusatsu gear.

Johnny being the only witness, decides to set out on a quest of revenge and become a detective himself in hopes of finding his mentor’s killer. He uses his physical gifts to square up against some of the most dangerous monsters and mutants in the city.

When finally getting accepted into the MCU unit which specialises in monster and mutant related crimes, Johnny is shocked to find that he is partnered with Toku, a seemingly innocent, bright and optimistic genius mutant detective who bares a mask resembling the killer Johnny has been looking for...
